As part of my Modern Masters project I have looked at several fashion illustrators to give me inspiration for when designing my own fashion drawings and how I go about it. During the fashion illustration powerpoint in class we looked at the materials and mark making methods the fashion illustrators use, the techniques being used and discussed how they differ from one another.
One particular illustrator I came across was Jason Brooks whos work I absolutley loved due to his glamorous technique and detail injected in his drawings, as shown in these two images.
This was a quick fashion illustration I drew inspired by the illustrations and technique of Jason Brooks. Now considering Brooks' work is in a totally different league to my humble quick sketch, I like to believe "that every artist was first an amateur".
